Final Conference - Brussels 2016

Final Conference - Brussels September 2016

DIADSE project final conference: 'Labour Law Reforms and Social Dialogue in Europe: Comparative Perspectives', 29 September 2016, venue: International Auditorium, Boulevard du Roi Albert II, No. 5/2, Brussels, Belgium.

This event is organized within the EU funded project 'Dialogue for Advancing Social Europe' (DIADSE). The purpose of this conference is to disseminate and discuss the main findings of the DIADSE project. The research team of the project has carried out a comparative analysis of labour law reforms and social dialogue initiatives in several EU Member States. This project investigates how the social dimension of Europe both at the supranational and national levels has been affected by the latest socio-economic adjustments and how the EU social model might be re-constructed and advanced through social dialogue. In this seminar, the DIADSE research team will present their reports on the involvement of the social partners in labour and social reforms at EU Member States level – in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, France, Poland, Hungary, Ireland, Portugal, and Belgium – in light of what have been the labour market effects of those reforms.
