Nuna Zekić is Associate Professor of Labour Law at the Amsterdam Institute of Advanced Labour Studies - Hugo Sinzheimer Institute (AIAS-HSI), Amsterdam Law School. Previously, she worked at the Department of Private, Business and Labour Law at Tilburg University where she also obtained her PhD (cum laude) in the field of labour law. Her expertise lies in the area of labour law and more precisely, dismissal law, flexible employment, platform work, equal treatment, and collective bargaining agreements. She has published widely on these issues both in national and international journals. She was also involved in the Horizon2020 Working Yet Poor workingyetpoor.eu/ project. She has been a visiting researcher at the European University Institute (EUI) in Italy, the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and Lund University (Sweden).
She is currently co-promotor of two PhD-researchers (at Tilburg University), both in the field of platform work.
Since January 2022, she acts as deputy judge (raadsheerplaatsvervanger) at the 's-Hertogenbosch appeal court.
